Frank Moran
The elder statesman of the band, although you’d never know it, Frank has racked up a few gigs in his time with local bands. Having taken a natural break from gigging after the demise of local show band Billy Badger & The Set, (he still has the badge in his flight case!) it was Frank who was one of the band’s original members back in 2000.
Frank revels in his economy of fancy technique opting to use his patented style of chording, know as The Claw. You’ve never known so many chords to be derived from one simple left handed clutch of the neck. Frank would tell you that he is influenced by Jeff Beck and Dave Gilmour, but he sells his own influence on the guitar playing public painfully short. This is a man of small stature, (height not width) that walks tall in the pantheon of guitar legends, and loves a pint of Guinness or two, or three, or four...
Frank uses the following equipment:
1975 Fender Stratocaster
Gibson Les Paul
Yamaha SG2000 (occasionally)
Takamine Electro Acoustic
Mesa Boogie Nomad 55 Combo
Line 6 Pro effects
